Starter Kit 1.2.0 is not Community 1.2.0. Pro 1.1.0 is not a new Core major version. Documentation revisions are separate from all of these version numbers.

The packages encode the shared baseline differently: Starter Kit records kosContractVersion: "1.0.0"; Pro records core_version: "1.0.0" and core_contract_version: 1. Keep those field names and values intact. The Pro compatibility major is not the documentation version or an instruction to renumber the Starter schema.

Community

The Apache-2.0 Starter Kit provides a distributable starting point for the file-based workspace, selected agent adapters and local package lifecycle. Use the versioned release and its matching installer guides.

Pro

The approved October 19 Pro 1.1.0 artifact is the stable baseline documented here. It remains private-access-only; approval does not establish public availability. It provides the guided Windows installation paths, supported transitions and project context lifecycle described in its package. It uses a proprietary License with a public non-paid grant; it is not the Community open-source distribution.

Documentation versions

This site currently has one documentation set with edition/version metadata on each article. A version selector would suggest historical documentation snapshots that are not maintained here. Use the applicable release notes when working with an older package.

Before using a command

Check the article’s edition, version and verification details. If they do not match your vault, use the appropriate package reference or inspect the compatibility boundary before acting.
