Test your combination
Record the installed edition, installer version, operating system, agent name/version and selected adapter. Run installation validation, then the fresh-session check. Keep the results with the project when they matter.
Unsupported and unknown are different
An explicit installer block is a supported boundary. An untested agent combination is unknown. Neither is a reason to claim universal support, delete authority records or disable validation.
Reporting a mismatch
Share a sanitized minimal reproduction and the exact version combination through the support path. Do not attach your entire vault.
